Getting started

At Pardosa Software we realise that many small to medium businesses, clubs or organisations would like to get a presence on the Internet, but are concerned about the complexity of setting up their first Website. Our aim is to guide you through the process with the minimum of fuss and jargon. We also realise that no two businesses are the same, in terms of their needs, or their expectations. We are able to offer you as much help and advice as you need while we develop your website.

Just as no two businesses are the same, no two websites are the same and each website that we develop is unique - from a simple one page presence to a full blown Electronic Commerce solution, the same amount of care is taken to ensure that your website is what you want.

Your website will be developed to current industry standards, with this comes the assurance that your information will be available to as many people as possible. During the development, a test version will be available for you to view and comment upon.

Included in your design costs is domain registration and one year of hosting on our high specification servers, we also include two minor changes to the site each year while it is hosted on our servers.

Notes

POP3 Email accounts include on-server Spam filtering to identify and help you deal with the increasing amount of electronic junk mail. In addition, we virus scan all incoming email as it passes through our mail servers.

Contact pages are provided as standard on all of our websites. These allow anyone to email you and provide some protection from incoming junk mail as your email address is never displayed to the visitor.

Use of our servers for email and web hosting is subject to our Terms of Service.

Hosting can be renewed after the first year, domain registration may be renewed after two. We do not charge for releasing your domain name should you wish to move hosts.
